SCMP Young Post: A news story written by Anirudh Kannan (Year12 M1)

SCMP Young Post last Thursday featured a news story written by Anirudh. He wrote that a group of ESF students have come together and formed a group called ESF Student Environmental Forum, which meet to discuss environmental issues and best practices across ESF schools.

One of their concerned issues is the government’s East Lantau Metropolis project. The group is worried that the HK$400-billion project will threaten the region’s biodiversity, wrote Anirudh.

With the help of Ross Burrough, ESF Environmental Coordinator, the students were invited to watch the debate on the issue at the Legislative Council. Click HERE to see what they have learned.
