HKAYP Gold Awards
HKAYP New Congratulations to two recent alumni Bonita Lau and On Mei Fung who have just been awarded their Hong Kong for Young People Gold Award. This is a great achievement to complete the award so soon after finishing school. We have had a great year for students achieving Gold and this brings our tally to an impressive 8 Gold Awards this year out of 80 awarded to all young people in Hong Kong.

HKAYP Bronze
We had a great weekend on 29th-30th November with 80 students at a tented camp in the Sai Kung Country Park. 5 of our groups were with outward bound Hong Kong and the remaining 9 with South Island Staff, The weather was on our side and helped to make this a successful experience for all of the students. As always this trip was supported by a fantastic and dedicated volunteer staff team of 19 so a big thank you to them and the outward bound instructors. The students camped overnight on Friday and the SIS students enjoyed a night exercise. The next day students hiked some challenging routes with full packs. Most students are now ready for their final assessment in February.
