Year 7 Spanish
Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican tradition celebrated in November. It is a time when families celebrate their ancestors and loved ones who have passed, by setting up elaborately decorated altars in their homes and dressing up to attend lively skull-themed street parades. The Spanish Department invited our Year 7s to create a poster or other media which depicts what they learnt about Day of the Dead, and we wanted to share our top entries with the SIS community. It is wonderful to see the creative talent within our students of Spanish!
