Message for Y11 Parents

Supervised Study Year 11

This term, Year 11 Enrichment lessons will be used as Supervised Study. We would like students to plan what they are going to do during the 2-hour session and to ensure they come prepared. This study time will build students’ independent learning skills and allow them time and space to complete coursework, especially for Creative Arts subjects. English support sessions will continue with Ms. Egan during this time.

Students need to bring all their equipment to the lesson. They will need to have at least two or more tasks to do so that they have some variety of activities.

At the start of the lesson, students will be asked by the supervising teacher to set themselves some targets that they want to achieve in the session and then at the end of the session they will review how effectively they have worked.

We wish our Year 11 students a productive time during these sessions.
