SIS students helped Make A Difference

Super typhoon Mangkhut no doubt caused widespread damage to Hong Kong. Trees fell down in many areas, including at the pedestrian side walks near SIS that contributed to three days of school closure. Waves also left the city’s beaches with large amount of rubbish.

Big thumbs up to Ronan Knevitt from 13N1 who agreed to participate in a beach clean up event organised by another party last weekend in Stanley, and bringing along nine other friends and schoolmates with a big boom box and tons of energy and enthusiasm! They were definitely fantastic role models for South Island. Thank you for their hard work to make a difference.

Names of the boys from left to right: Will Harris(12M1), Jules Robert (West Island School), Anton Van Der Weijst (13C1), Simon Morris (12S1), Tomo Nagai (12K2), Lars Ytterdale (13M2), Kohshin Noma(12S1), Gwion Sexton (12M1), Ronan Knevitt (13N1), John Lam (13C2)
