SIS Netball Stars

Alyssa Wong ( 11N1), Samantha Cho (11S2), Sophie Langford ( 11K2) and Leanne Chan (12B2) returned to Hong Kong last Saturday after a week of Netball Matches against different countries during the 11th International Youth Netball Challenge at Singapore Sports School.  It was definitely a valuable experiences for the girls.

Here is Samantha’s report from the championships:

During the week in Singapore, both the teams had many ups and downs and at the end of the whole week there were lots of tired bodies and minds after 8 hard games against top notch competitors from across the globe. It was the perfect opportunity for us to develop together with players and set plays that we were not familiar with. This opportunity allowed us to play a lot of netball with all the intensity from games and learning how to keep going and be determined in every circumstance. Both teams went into the games with 100% focus and 110% effort. We encouraged and motivated each other in pushing through the pain and furthering our netball skills and set plays. Both teams came out of the tour extremely proud of what they had accomplished.

Well done to all.
