Diwali Night 2021

Last month we were delighted to welcome back onsite our annual student-led Diwali Night event. The event consisted of a grand show, merged with loads of music and dancing. This year the show was about the Ramayana: the ancient epic, alongside many lively dance performances. This event supports World Vision, a charity that works with children and families who are facing hardships and gives them financial support (as well as other forms of support) to help them overcome their hardships and difficulties. This year the Diwali Team managed to raise an outstanding sum of HK$14,871.25. Please read more about the evening in the separate newsletter HERE

HKAYP Silver Hike

We would like to congratulate all of the HKAYP Silver students that took part in their first Silver level hike on 27th November 2021. It was a lovely day and the weather was perfect for hiking. All the students successfully completed the 18.5km of the trail, which went over some very steep hills and rough terrain. All of the HKAYP teachers were very impressed with the students’ map reading and navigational skill, as well as their maturity and commitment to the HKAYP program. Well done!

Our next camp is a 3 day 2-night camp scheduled to take place on Thursday 24th February – Saturday 26th February.
