Year 10 Music

We would like to congratulate our Year 10 students who have been rehearsing for their ensemble performances. It is lovely to hear live music coming regularly from our classrooms once again at all times of the day!

Design Learning

Students have really enjoyed being back in Design workshops to experience hands-on learning activities!  Many Textile students in Year 7-9 have been learning hand sewing techniques and also learning how to use the sewing machine as part of their unit of inquiry in Design.  Students really appreciate the use of specialist tools and machines to produce high-quality design outcomes in our well-resourced spaces, with the support of their teachers and specialist technicians.

Magazines International Non-Fiction Writer’s Award

The winners have been announced for the annual Magazines International Non-Fiction Writer’s Award. Three of our talented students received certificates for placing in the Top 50 of writers in their age group.

Amaanat Rekhi, Camille Phieu and Eldon Tse have won the “Top 50 award (Junior Section)” in MI Young Writers Award 2021!

Over 300 schools entered this year’s competition, so reaching the top 50 of students in Hong Kong is an achievement of which they should be very proud.

With no award ceremony this year, students will be receiving their certificates at school in the coming weeks.

Congratulations to our three great writers!

Students Sporting Achievements

Caroline Skoett (07S1) and Cassandra Skoett (07S2) have been doing extremely well with their sports teams outside of school. They are part of the SCAA Causeway Bay U12 netball team who won the Netfest tournament and had a 100% win record in their league this season. They have also been busy playing rugby for the HKU Sandy Bay U12 team who won the Kim Lam Cup last weekend. Well done girls!
