Getting ready for reunion with alumni souvenirs

We are happy to see another alumnus visiting SIS this week! Irene Chan from The Class of 1985 was here to pick up some alumni souvenirs before she meets a few other SIS alumni in London. Wearing her South Island School Alumni cap, Irene tells us that her favourite place at school was the common room where she spent wonderful time hanging out with other schoolmates. What left her with unforgettable memories too was her regular running trainings on Black’s Link from school. She also remembers her earlier years in school having PE lessons at Morrison Hill Swimming Pool when SIS was still at the old campus at So Kon Po near Causeway Bay before it moved to the current campus in 1983.

Irene is now a mother of five children. Before, she worked at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong where she coincidentally was a colleague with another SIS alumnus. We hope Irene will have a great catch up with other fellow South Island alumni in the UK!

If any alumni would like to keep in touch with us, do follow us on our SIS Alumni Facebook, and register on the SIS Alumni website where you can buy a range of amazing souvenirs. Alumni may also connect with us via Linked In.
