A message from Head Boy Larry Lee (Yea Lam) and Head Girl Crystal Ho

In our school, we encourage a comfortable student-learning environment and bring a unity between students and teachers throughout the school. We not only focus on academic learning but we also concentrate on students' individual leadership skills and extra curricular activities to prepare the “international leaders of tomorrow.” South Island School is an international school, which promotes diversity of culture and this allows students to experience different ethnicities. Moreover, South Island School highlights a lot on student voice, for example our school consists of different students groups such as the Prefect Team, Student Council and the Social Committee also known as “AHMAZING.” The teachers in South Island are also very supportive in their designated subject ensuring that each student reaches their maximum potential.

The first day of stepping into South Island School is always nerve racking but we soon settled down easily and comfortably. There is one thing that South Island School brings that no other school does, which is to bring a range of opportunities to let individuals realize their true talent. Also, with the true talent of individuals, the school is able to develop their strengths further to achieve their ultimate goal. We find South Island School supports and prepare each student for future.

Overall, South Island School is the most innovative school in Hong Kong, with the latest technology, facilities and opportunities; these students are able to perform their best.
