A message from Head Boy Kim Byoung-Woo and Head Girl Dani Howard                         

South Island School has always provided students with a nurturing and supportive environment, allowing them to make the most of their education and enjoy their time here.

We are fortunate to have a supportive and motivated staff team, who aim to strengthen students self-confidence, allowing them to express their opinions and ideas, both in and outside school. As student leaders, we strive to act as a bridge between the staff and the students, to help facilitate open communication within the school.

South Island values the importance of creativity, originality and independent learning, and ensures that these qualities are explored and integrated within all aspects of school life. The diverse nature of the school itself, consisting of students from over 35 different countries, provides a multi-cultural environment from which students can learn to appreciate and embrace people’s differences.

The opportunities are limitless. Ranging from debating to film making, choir to kickboxing, South Island provides students with a broad base of endless opportunities which helps prepare us for our futures. We hope every student will make the most of the wonderful opportunities on offer during their time at South Island School.
