The Pi Day Competition

The Pi Day competition took place on March 14th and 28th. It involved solving 5 very difficult, mathematical puzzles. It was great to see many students engaged with the challenge and, above all, we appreciated their resilience. There are 4 winning teams, and took some up to two weeks to successfully crack the final puzzle.

The teams completing the challenge are below, in no particular order:

Team 1 (Year 8): Asumi Matsuyama, Maggie Tsoi, Conrad Poon

Team 2 (Year 8): Anjelica Law, Zoe Lee, Nicole Lam

Team 3 (Year 12): Paco Chow, Andrew Lee, Grant Chen, Joshua Chu

Team 4 (Year 13): Chai Chun Ma, Colin Wong, Dickson Lim, Henry To, Jocelyn Chun, Mason Lee, Tsz-Wai Kwok, Victor Meng

Special thanks to Mr. Andrew Cockayne from West Island School for creating the rich set of puzzles.
