Student Council

There is a student council representing the views of students and organizing a range of social events. The Student Council is chaired by one of the Head Prefects. Its membership is:

2 Students nominated from the Year Councils in Years 7-11
2 Students nominated form the Section Council in Years 12-13
6 Senior Prefects
Principal
An Assistant Principal
Business and General Manager

The School Council meets once every month on Tuesday mornings and its minutes are circulated widely. The School Council has its own bank account and raises funds to improve the school environment and make charitable contributions.

The Year/Section Councils made up of 2 representatives from each tutor/from group in the year elected by the rest of the class(es). The Year/Section Council meets once every half team with the Year Head.
