Prefects

The school has a well established prefect system in which our Year 12 and Year 13 students are assigned key positions of responsibility to help with the effective and efficient day to day running of the school. The prefect team is selected through a rigorous application process: students submit letters of application for prefect positions from which a shortlist is chosen, the short listed candidates are then interviewed and the prefect team is selected. From the prefect body six senior prefects, including a Head Boy and Head Girl, are chosen by staff and students vote. The prefect team assists staff with daily duties around the school, with parents evenings, school concerts and performances and a variety of other events. The prefect system is administered by Danny O'Connor (Assistant Principal and Head of Senior Section).
