Pastoral Learning Curriculum

Our Pastoral Learning takes place on Tuesday mornings and is delivered by Tutors.  It is a planned programme of learning where pupils acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives now and in the future.
The planned spiral nature of the programme ensures learning is revisited, reinforced and extended in age- and stage-appropriate contexts and is tailored to our students in Hong Kong and an international school setting. This also forms a cohesive link with our school wellbeing agenda.
Learning is a developmental process that changes our thinking and behaviours, enabling us to acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes while providing a catalyst for creativity, critical thinking and independent learning.  We have recognized 10 dispositions that we use to describe what we want our students to develop
5 Dispositions for Learning
  • Communication
  • Curiosity
  • Thinking
  • Courage
  • Creativity
5 Dispositions for Personal Growth
  • Social Engagement
  • Digital Literacy
  • Academic Engagement
  • Taking Action
  • Fitness for Life
The overall timetable for the PLC,  for all year groups, is now available on our website.
