Ski Trip

 

I only have 3 words about the 2010 Verbier Ski Trip. IT WAS AWESOME! I had so much fun, I made new friends and I experienced Switzerland. One of the funniest things was the Muppet of the day award. This was awarded each day to the person who had a comedy moment on the slopes. Seeing them wear the neon yellow traffic jacket on the slopes, made me smile every time. At night everything was fun, from eating Cheese Fondue to Ice Skating to eating crepes in town. It is something I will never forget. Just sitting there on the Alps looking out towards the other mountains made me think of how lucky I am to be able to see such a breath-taking view.  I hope that I will be able to go again next year!

The ski trip this year was extremely enjoyable, lots of great moments with all your friends really makes the trip worth while. From starting on a blue piste to ending on a black piste. You get to take in the most incredible view from the top. Meeting new people from different schools all over the world, having dance off competitions, ice skating, BBQ on the slopes and having amazing crepes in the crepery were some of the highlights. It's not what you do, it’s who you do it with, and the teachers and the people who welcome you into such a great community made the trip even better. It was a truly wonderful trip and I will definitely take the opportunity to go again.

This year I went on the annual ski trip with an amazing group of people. One week, no parents, no work in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. To top it off you’re with the best teachers ever (Hibbs and Webby)! Not only was it fun, my skiing actually improved a lot! As I had only been skiing twice before the trip I wasn’t the most confident person but after one week of following my ski instructor I was flying down some of the harder blacks with so much confidence. The difference was amazing. I hope the people that go on the trip next year will have as much fun and improve as much as I did.

The ski trip this year, as it always is every year, was fantastic, superb, outstanding, brilliant, dazzling, awesome, magic, at the status of par excellence. Its not everyday when you can chill with the duo Webster, the Hibsta and “advanced” skier Ms.Stephens. Its a great trip, my 3^rd ski trip in a row and a chance you cannot miss!
