Autumn Term Activities Programme

Dear Parents and students,

Welcome back! I hope that all of you have enjoyed a refreshing break. I am pleased to present the new activities schedule. The Autumn term programme will start from Monday September 6th to Friday December 3rd 2010

There is an exciting selection of activities this term that will benefit all of our students. I do hope that there is something to involve everyone whether it is a sporting, musical or creative activity.

At South Island School, we value the importance of taking part in an extra curricular activity, whatever your interest may be. That is why we feel that you should be acknowledged for your contributions to life outside of the class room too!

This term we will continue to register by on line enrolment. Students will start to register for next term’s activity from 8am on August 30th, 2010 to 2pm on September 3rd 2010. This registration will be done on a first come, first serve basis.
For any activity that has a fee, payment by cheque must be made and submitted to the GENERAL OFFICE BY 2PM FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD 2010One cheque for each activity (i.e. one cheque for rowing, one cheque for archery & etc).  Please put down student's name, tutor group and activity on the back of each cheque. If there is not enough details on cheque or payment has not been made, we are afraid that you can be removed from the activity without notice.
If you have enrolled in the sailing, rowing, or horse riding activity, indemnity form must be signed by the parent or guardian.  The forms must be returned to the General Office at least three working days before the first lesson. If anyone fails to do so, no activity will be allowed. Just a reminder that no refunds can be given for any withdrawal, transferred to a different activity, or no-show.
I do hope that you find something that interests you. I look forward to hearing about your success in the activity that you choose.

Kind regards,
Connie Ha
