Individual Student Honours
Outstanding student achievements in 2009-10
Matthew Cheung 8T2 came 2nd runner up in the Scout Archery Club Indoor Archery Open Competition (Grade C).
Girls B Grade Archery – Emily Lee 10N2 ranked 10th and got a medal.
Girls C Grade Archery - Valeria Yuen 8J2 ranked 9th.
Boys C Grade Archery - Matthew Cheung 8T2 ranked 4th and Tedrick Leong 8T2 ranked 11th.
Madhav Menon 9A2 was selected into the Hong Kong Under 16 Cricket Squad.
Akhil Venkataraghavan 11S1 was selected to represent Hong Kong in the Asian Cricket Council U16 Elite Cup 2010.
Danielle Howard 12H1 was selected into the HK Interpole U18 Basketball Team which was selected out of over 100 people.
Rhiannon Perrin 8S1 and Aneesa Fiaz 10S1 have been selected from over 40 girls from all over Hong Kong for the first ever HK Bauhinias development squad.
Lewis Roberts 10N1 came 20th in the 15-17 years old category at the Hong Kong Age Group Swimming Championships; competed in the Hong Kong Triatahlon Association Splash N Dash Races (swimming & running). So far he has finished 4th in both his races in the Youth Open Age Group (15-19 years). He also competed in the Hong Kong Division 1 Swimming Championships. As a result of his fantastic swims he has qualified for the Hong Kong age group championships.
Outstanding student achievements in 2008-9
2008 Cambridge Brilliance Award
Leonard Marignier 10M2 received an award from University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) for being top in Hong Kong in IGCSE for the subject Foreign Language French.
Chess
Nicholas Ng 8J1 won the 1st runner up in his age group in the Hong Kong Association Blitz Chess Tournament in September 2008.
Chinese Speech
In Hong Kong Chinese Speech Festival, Mabel Lau 10N1 obtained the 3rd place, Henry Wu 11J1 and Sheryl Cheng 10N1 have been awarded in the 5th place. Among all the participants of SIS, 6 students received the certificate for Excellent Performance and 3 students received the Certificate for Good Performance.
Global Young Leaders Conference
Adrian Chao 13S1 attended GYLC, a leadership development conference in summer 2008.
Piano
Jeffrey Li 9T1 received Second Prize in advanced section of the "SWAYDER" Hong Kong Youth and Children Piano Competition 2008.
Violin
Carisse Chan 9A1 came 2nd in the violin concerto under 18 group as part of the Music Festival in HKSMSA, and there were 21 competitors.
Archery
In Inter-School HKSSF Archery Competition, Matthew Cheung 7T2 came 8th place in C Grade Boys Individual. Emily Lee 9N2, Jenny Moon 9J2 and Crystal Tam 9S1 came 5th place in C Grade Girls Team.
Matthew also won:
- The Hong Kong Youth Indoor Archery Elimination Tournament in March 2009, he created a new Hong Kong record.
- The Hong Kong Island Region Archery Competition, Scout Association of Hong Kong 2008
- The 6th Scout Association of Hong Kong Archery Competition (Club Scout Section)
- The 51st Sports Festival Archery Tournament (Age 12 or below)

Badminton
Jessica Cheng 11A1 won the Central and Western District Badminton Competition in her age group (women).
Golf
Nicholas Woolcott-Brown 11A2 and James Assarasakorn 11N1 won a gold medal at the ISSFHK Golf Pairs Championship in November 2008.
Michelle Cheung 9H1 came 5th overall and 3rd in her age group in the MacGregor Hong Kong Close Championship 2009 held in Discovery Bay in mid April. She carded 83 and 80. She also represented Hong Kong in China in May 2009 coming in 2nd with a 75 on both days.

HKAYP Gold Award 2008
Joyce Hon, Jade Siu, Alan Wong, Philip Ma (all recently graduated) received HKAYP Gold Award 2008.
Inline Hockey
Jeremy Fong 9J2 represented Hong Kong in the Junior Olympics and Junior World Championships in summer 2008.
He also represented Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Dragons Inline Hockey Team in November 2008.
Karate
Jeremy Ho 13H1 and his brother Donovan Ho 12M1 won:
- The 2nd runner up in the 4th Korea Open Karatedo Championships in September 2008.
- The 1st runner up in Hong Kong Karate Team Championships 2009 - Youth Team.
Jeremy also won the champion in the Hong Kong Youth Game Championships in August 2008.

Mini Rugby
Rosanna Wright 7N2 represented Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Mini Rugby Football Union and Colts Rugby International Tournament in October 2008.
William Feunteun 7N1, Brook Leung 7M2, Giacomo Lamplough 7M2, Scott Abbiss 7H2 and Matthew Worley 7H2 represented HKFC at the Bintang International Youth Rugby Tournament in Kuala Lumpur. Teams from China, Singapore, Arabian Gulf and Malaysia played in the U12 competition.
Netball
Jamie Ng 9N2 and Daveen Zhang were voted Captains of the C Grade and U14B Netball teams respectively.
Alex Holden 13T1 and Robyn Atkinson 12S2 were selected in the Hong Kong U21 Netball Squad. The girls will begin training for the 7th Asian Youth Games to be held in 2010.
Lizzie Stokes 13H2 and Alex Holden were selected to be members of the Hong Kong Women's National Netball Squad and participated in the Senior Women's Asian Games in June 2009.
Roller Skating
Jung Chan 7H2 won some prizes in 5 roller competitions in HK and China including champion of The 12th Hong Kong SAR Youth Roller Skating Championships (10000m and 3000m) in her age group.

Table Tennis
Allison Margo Fok 8H2 won two silver medals in the Eastern District Age-Group Table Tennis Competition in November 2008.Allison and her team (South China Athletic Association, SCAA), won the Girls Team (Division C) title in the Hong Kong Youth Table Tennis Championships.

Windsurfing
Gabriel Bretell 10N2 participated in the Hong Kong Open in November 2008.
Dominic Bretell 12T1 is currently a scholarship athlete of Hong Kong Sports Institute in Windsurfing and he participated in the following championships in December 2008:
- RS:X Asian Championships in Thailand
- RS:X Youth World Championships in Thailand
- Hong Kong Open
Women's Cricket
Ishitaa Gidwani 12T2 represented Hong Kong in the Women's Cricket team, she helped HK win 3-0 against a touring women's team from Japan in October 2008.
Ishitaa's recently captained the senior ladies club team for first time and they won. She made the headlines on the Hong Kong Cricket Association Web Site.
Ishitaa also represented Hong Kong to compete against eleven other Asian countries in the inaugural ACG Girls’ U19 Cricket Tournament in December 2008.
