Yum Cha

The PTA organizes a series of coffee mornings (yum cha - drink tea in Chinese) throughout the school year. This is an opportunity to sit down with other parents and to talk about your children's experiences in school and to share ideas about how to best support your children. At the end of the yum cha sessions, the Principal or one of the other senior staff members will normally attend to answer questions.

Invitation to Parents of Year 10 and 11 students

On Wednesday March 24th the PTA will be holding a Yum Cha for parents of Year 10 and 11 parents.  This will be held from 9.30 am to 11am in the Conference Room at South Island School.  The Yum Cha will be attended by Karen Hartcher, Co-Head of Year 10 and Annette Chapman, Head of Middle School, who will be able to answer any questions you may have.
